General Parental Control Options

Prevent in-app purchases from the App Store

Turning on "Ask to Buy" when kids want to buy or download a new item, they send a request to the family organizer. The family organizer can use their own device to approve or decline the request.

Setup Screen Time With Screen Time, you can access real-time reports about how much time you spend on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, and set limits for what you want to manage.

Family Sharing

Family Sharing is a way for you and up to five other family members to share access to Apple services. Your group can share iTunes, Apple Books, and App Store purchases, an iCloud storage plan, a family photo album and more.

One adult in your family โ€” the organizer โ€” invites all the other members to join and sets up accounts for anyone under 13. Once family members join, Family Sharing is set up on everyones devices automatically. The group then chooses which services and features theyโ€™d like to use and share.
